New Recruits
Welcome, prospective Member! You're
here because you are either interested in joining Heirs of Azeroth
or you're a new Member and have been directed here by an Officer.
Regardless, this page will outline for you what will be expected of
you in terms of behavior as well as general Guild Policy.
General Behavior
All Members are expected to adhere to
our behavior guidelines which you can read in the
Guild Charter. While we're not a strictly
RP Guild, we do ask Members to be in-character when speaking
publicly. You are not expected to remain in-character in Guild,
Party or Raid Chat.
Forum and Website Registration
All Members are required to register
for the website via the Forums. This will grant Members access to
our Forums, Knowledgebase and Personal Portal pages. Registration
also provides Members and Officers and easy way to keep in touch
with each other outside of the game.
Registration requires an Invitation
Code which can be found in-game in the Guild Information Tab. This
is an effort to prevent SPAM from flooding our message boards (which
has been a problem in the past).
If you're having any trouble
registering for the Website, please contact Veilan in-game for
assistance.

-

A rare rank, Rank 1 Members have proven themselves to be

The Elite amongst our Ranks, our Officers enforce the

actions.

Alternate Characters (Alt's)
Alternate Characters, or Alt's, are
welcome in our Guild. You are not expected to bring your Main
Character in. However, Alt's are governed by the same principles and
guidelines set forth to all Members.
Members who have achieved a minimum
of Non-Raid Rank 2 are permitted to bring in at most two Alt's.
These characters will be given a Non-Raid Rank 4.
Joining & Leaving
We understand that there are times
when you may feel that Heirs of Azeroth is no longer suited for you
or you may have extenuating circumstance requiring you to leave.
While we will be sad to see you go, we will not hold your decision
to leave against you provided you meet the following criteria:
-
You are leaving for good
reasons - Examples would be a real-life friend insisting
that you join their Guild, feeling that Heirs of Azeroth is not
meeting your goals, etc. Reasons we do not consider 'good'
include thing such as "I want better gear", "Nobody is helping
me" or "Nobody will give me stuff".
-
You inform the Guild Leader or
an Officer prior to leaving - This is extremely important as
it will be a deciding factor should you decide to rejoin.
-
You have not been removed for
violating Guild Charter - If you have been removed from the
Guild for violating Guild Charter Guidelines, you will not be
able to rejoin.
Any Member who has left the Guild on
a positive note will be given an opportunity to rejoin at any time.
Members who have left the guild on bad terms or have been removed
will be considered but will need to speak directly with the Guild
Leader.
Arena Teams & Forum Hosting
Heirs of Azeroth currently sports two
official Arena Teams. Members will be allowed to join through an
application process.
We understand that some Members may
have their own Arena Teams. This is fine and we will embrace all
Team Members. We are also able to host Arena Team Forums for our
Guild Members. They will also be allowed to invite Non-Guild members
of their Teams to join their Team's Forum.
Please consult Veilan for further
information about Arena Team Forum Hosting.
